SPAZIO ALTRO (2016)

This research is rooted in the consideration that the perception of an object is o en forced upon us only through pre-established rules, ones which consequently lead us to a crossroads.

We may be completely dominated by the rules of the system handed down to us and accepted as such, or create a form of resistance within the imposed order.

Within the development of my research, I sought out a place in which space might overpower time, becoming independent from the circumstances: an entirely autonomous space in which I might com- pare the rules of the game with all the indeterminate possibilities that may arise. My only power was over the management of time.

A relationship of tenaciousness and invention thus came about which allowed me to transfer a simple object into a new dimension, completely independent and incoherent from the space.

ASPHYXIATION (2015)

This project, still in progress, is an introspective analysis through images originated from pictures that I took in a recent past and with an extremely different function than the desire of expressing and pour out my feelings. It all started from the urgency of unloading my sense of disorientation that through time has suffocated me, until I felt trapped.

Trying to analyse myself, I found out that the perfect way for expressing these feelings was to go back and obsessively examine the pictures taken during some handball matches, until I got inside them. These images originated from that process and they represent my sense of disorder, of suffocation but also my will of defeating it and of demolish these walls that prevent me to breathe.
