RITO (2014)

Nature drives the human being to seek out that perfection which may be manifested through the work of art. Rito is the representation of this urgency deployed through minimal gestures: moulding clay into a solid geometric shape.

When hands and clay are in contact with one another, time stands still. The struggle, punctuated by a vibration, is endless. The moment in which the search seems to have come to an end, the passage to the next one occurs, putting all the elements in doubt once again. In this conscious process, a relationship of action and reaction is set up in which what is lost is turned into a constant tension.
