IN UNA QUALCHE DIREZIONE SOSPESA (2014)
Along the rivers and into the seas, the currents carry the flow of water. Underneath, in that thin layer above the riverbed, lies the emulsion of the ground surface, and various substances like dusts, particles and air bubbles settle among the pebbles. There, in the very placenta of nature, each body remains still, suspended, and the shapes seem to hang there, motionless and timeless. Sometimes, an unexpected movement, a sudden shake, may stir up the waters and transport the sediments elsewhere, dispersing them… This is the start of a real journey which foresees no starting points or returns, through the memory of nature, towards continuous change.
In a visual flow, the installation pieces together a precipitation of associations, brief suspended episodes, missing parts and voids.
