VIAGGIO IN CURVA (2016)

Viaggio in curva is born from the need to voice a mood that arises from the difficulties a person tackles in life. In this sense, it shows the representation of a wavering journey between my doubts and my certainties. These last ones are emphasized by the words written directly on the print, as a positive imposition on my self. A depiction through the photographic reproduction of an intimate part of my essence.

AFTERMATH (2017)

“The world began without man and it will end without him.”

Claude Levi Strauss

This posthumous image tells about the extinction of mankind as in a post apocalyptic environment. Finding such forgotten objects highlights the destructive nature of man. He thus seems doomed to a decadence due to his necessity to expand without being able to satisfy his need of organization, causing an over-production. Buildings will merge with the chaos after his extinction causing the loss of his own memories. All of this refers to a man that neglects himself leaving a legacy of a decadent image of what was once his greatness.
