Silvio Grasselli (1979) has a Phd in Cinema. He contributes to the teaching activities at the Dams and the Architecture Department of University Roma Tre.

Member of the selection committee and curator of the Festival dei Popoli (Firenze), selector and curator for the Musil – Museo dell’Industria e del Lavoro of Brescia  e vice-director of DocSS – Festival internazionale del cinema urbano (Sassari). National vice-president of CSC – Centro Studi Cinematografici, he published essays in collective works for Marsilio, Lindau, Kaplan and others, he contributed to Bianco e Nero, Alias and other magazines, and he curated for Edizioni Fondazione Ente dello Spettacolo Immagini dal mondo. Cinema, rappresentazione, verità and, together with S. Murri, La realtà dopo il cinema. Percezione, senso, azione nel mondo visto.

His historical and critical works have been published in the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal and Chile.
